These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Relffits ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Relffits is a nutrition tracking and food awareness application that provides calorie and macro tracking, AI-powered meal analysis, cook-at-home meal suggestions, a restaurant menu scanner, a restaurant / venue menu lookup by name (Eating Out), Smart Swap suggestions, customizable macro targets, personalized nutritional insights, a Food Awareness Score, an optional Daily Note (mood log), a Monthly Check-In reflection, pattern analysis, and Apple Health integration. The app is designed to help users understand what they eat and make informed nutritional choices.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Relffits. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the app.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Relffits is for informational and educational purposes only. The app is not a medical device. Nothing in the app — including AI estimates, Smart Swap suggestions, restaurant picks, Awareness Scores, monthly check-ins, or any insight — constitutes medical advice, medical nutrition therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

Relffits is NOT a substitute for a registered dietitian (RD), licensed nutritionist, medical doctor (MD), or any other qualified healthcare professional. The suggestions you see are general nutritional ideas based on common dietary research and your stated goals — they are not personalized clinical recommendations. If you have a medical condition, take medications, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of an eating disorder, or are managing weight loss as part of a clinical plan, consult your physician or RD before changing your diet.

Calorie targets, macro recommendations, and nutritional guidance provided by the app are general estimates based on standard formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor equation) and population-level research. Individual needs vary substantially. Always defer to advice from your own care team when it conflicts with anything you see in this app.

4. AI-Generated Content

Relffits uses Google Gemini AI to power meal analysis, cook-at-home suggestions, restaurant menu scanning, restaurant / venue menu lookup by name (Eating Out), and Smart Swap suggestions. You acknowledge and agree that:

Nutritional values provided by AI analysis are estimates and may not be perfectly accurate. Portion sizes, preparation methods, and ingredient substitutions at restaurants vary widely.
Smart Swap suggestions are general ideas, not prescriptions. A swap that fits a population trend or your stated goal may not be appropriate for your specific health profile, medications, or clinical needs. Treat them as a starting point for thinking, not as instructions to follow.
Restaurant and venue picks (Eating Out) are suggestions only. Menus change frequently, ingredients are not verified, and "top picks for your goal" are based on common nutritional patterns — not on your individual lab values, medications, or clinical status. Always confirm what's actually offered when you arrive.
Meal suggestions, menu-scan results, and venue lookups are for informational purposes only and do not constitute personalized nutrition counseling, medical nutrition therapy, or a meal plan from a registered dietitian.
You are responsible for verifying nutritional information, especially if you have dietary restrictions, food allergies, or medical conditions. Relffits is not a safety check for allergens.
AI analysis requires your explicit opt-in consent and can be disabled at any time in Settings.
AI use is capped at 20 analyses per day per account; when you hit the cap, meal logging falls back to manual entry until midnight.

5. On-Device Insights, Daily Note & Awareness Score

Relffits generates personalized nutritional insights, meal annotations, a Food Awareness Score, an optional Daily Note (mood log), and a Monthly Check-In reflection by analyzing your data on your device. You acknowledge and agree that:

Insights, scores, and pattern analyses are educational estimates based on published nutritional research (USDA, FDA, AHA) — not personalized clinical guidance.
The Food Awareness Score (0–100) reflects trends in your logged meals and is not a clinical health metric.
Micro-insights, decision-moment hints, the “one thing to try” recommendation, and the “compared to your usual” observations are informational and should not replace advice from a registered dietitian (RD), medical doctor (MD), or other qualified healthcare professional.
Daily Note entries and Monthly Check-In answers are for your own reference, stored on your device, and not used to generate clinical guidance.
The accuracy of insights depends on the accuracy of the meal data you log.

6. Your Account

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and data passphrase
All activity that occurs under your account
Providing accurate information during account creation and onboarding
Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account

Your health data is encrypted on your device using your password or data passphrase. We cannot recover your data if you lose your passphrase.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or infrastructure
Use automated systems to access the app in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
Share your account credentials with others

8. Intellectual Property

The Relffits app, including its design, code, branding, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our prior written consent.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the app, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the app or other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relffits and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the app.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use this app at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Relffits and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
